| 2869 | Holmes, Simon | 4543 | This project is a wood turned pen and pencil set. While crafting this project, face shield was used as well as gloves for safety and i organized as I worked . I learned to use a dial caliper for measurement. I also learned to use a mini wood lathe and wood turning gouge, skew, and a parting tool. I used phila wood which is an African hardwood that will be sturdy. I used a 2 part epoxy to join the metal pen to the wood. Then I used a tool to hand mill out the extra dried epoxy.
