Welcome to the 2019 Montana 4-H State Horse Show

Registering through Fair Entry makes it easy to enter State Horse Show (SHS) classes for one rider or a whole family, and this year includes an integrated credit or debit card payment option.

LOCATION

HOW TO ENTER CLASSES

  • Login through 4-H Online (click green bar) and Fair Entry will automatically import your information (project, level, etc.).
  • Classes are separated by divisions (Western, English, Showmanship, Equitation, etc.). There are also specific classes for Colt-to-Maturity/Green Horse projects (Western, English, etc.).
  • NOTE: You MUST select entries for specific classes (use the ADD ENTRY button) or your registration will not be processed!!

PATTERNS & MUSIC (FREESTYLE REINING; LEVEL 7 WESTERN OR ENGLISH HORSEMANSHIP)

  • Your pattern(s) and music MUST be submitted by 6 September or you will be scratched from the class.
    • Freestyle reining: music required
    • Level 7 Western or English Horsemanship: music is optional
  • Submit pattern(s) and music details (song name, artist, version, song start/end time, etc.) by mail, upload into Fair Entry during registration, or email to anne.wassan@montana.edu
  • DO NOT SEND music files!

REQUIRED FORMS

There are 3 required forms for exhibitors and horses may be downloaded from Fair Entry during registration.

  1. Media Release Form (for each exhibitor)
  2. Medical Form (for each exhibitor)
  3. Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (for each horse)
  • Upload completed media and medical forms into Fair Entry during registration or submit onsite at event check-in.
  • Submit vet inspection form onsite at event check-in.

**Only riders and horses with the required forms on file are eligible to compete.
