2023 Livestock Auction Details
This sale will be held as live auction on Thursday, July 20, 2023 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Buyersmay have their photo taken with their purchase and youth immediately upon close of bid for smal animals only. Please exit the stands and meet your seller at the photo booth to the east of the sale arena.
Sykora Auctions will host the bidding process.
All sales are final. Payment in full is expected the night of the sale unless prior arrangements are made by contacting the MSU Extension office at 989-846-4111.
Animals are being sold by the pound are beef, swine, lamb. Buyer must inform sale clerks of chosen processor the night of the sale and is responsible for contacting the processor to provide cut and wrap instructions.
Buyers of by-the-pound animals are responsible for processing fees at the processor.
All small animals are being sold by the head; chicken, duck, rabbit and pheasants as pen of 3, turkey pen of 1. Pheasants are release only. Please note: Small animals with the exception of pheasants, will be processed and buyer will be contacted by the seller when completed.If the buyer chooses to NOT have processing, sale clerk must be notified the night of the sale.
Dairy Gallon of Milk donations support the 4-H Dairy Club with supplies, educational activities and its members.
If you would like to support an individual 4-H or FFA youth with a straight dollar donation without making a purchase, please do so before close of auction at the clerks table and they can make that happen for you.
If you would like to "BUMP" livestock to a minimum bid, please do this at the clerks "BUMP" table. BUMPS will close 15 minutes after the close of auction.
Processors accepting large livestock from this sale are: Berthiaume's, Holstine's Butcher Block, Klemmers, B&B Branded Meats and Ebels.
All 2022 buyers will receive through the mail, an auction flyer and free gate entry from 4-6 pm the night of auction.
