*ATTENTION MCLEAN COUNTY EXHIBITORS: Please read this message carefully!*
We are counting on you, our 4-H members and families, as well as our staff and volunteers to help make this fair season a safe and successful one!
In line with the latest guidelines from campus, the following will be in place on or before June 30th at all 4-H events:
Anyone who has experienced COVID-19 symptoms within the previous seven days is asked to stay home. COVID-19 symptoms include fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, or shortness of breath.
As excited as we are about the possibility of stepping back into face-to-face judging, we also recognize that this is a continually evolving situation. Illinois 4-H reserves the right to adjust or cancel events in the case of identified risk, such as changes in local COVID conditions or known instances of non-compliance with safety guidelines.
If any of these guidelines presents a challenge for you, please contact us directly at 309-663-8306. We are happy to discuss what accommodations are possible so that we can look for ways that all youth can safely participate in this event.
Tips for Exhibitors Making Online Entries:
LIVESTOCK YOUTH : Any livestock youth wanting to receive premiums and awards for both the 4-H Show at the McLean County Fair and the Junior Show at the McLean County Fair must register for both exhibition opportunities separately. Youth must register for the Junior Show at www.mcleancountyfair.org and the 4-H Show HERE. Entry/registration for one show does not guarantee entry in the other.
Youth who are not register for the 4-H Show by the Fair Registration Deadline will only be eligible to participate in Junior Show, and will only receive participation award for the 4-H side of the show. This means they will not receive trophies, Champion Project Awards, or premiums if they do not complete 4-H Show Registration on FairEntry.com
