Hello! Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at the Kalkaska County Agricultural Fair this year! We plan to have to the official Fair Exhibit Book online by June 1 and then registration open by mid-June. This is still a new process for us having used this program only one year so please bear with us as we continue to learn it right along with you. Right now, the 2021 Book is still available through Google Docs at the following link: https://tinyurl.com/KCAF21ExhibitBook There will be small edits but those will be such as jams and jellies do not have to be brought in in one quart jars. LOL What was I thinking?!
The easiest way we found last year to register online is to have one window open to the book (or go through and write down the department, section, and class and have that paper with you for registration) so you can cross-reference.
There may be a couple additions in our open livestock including allowing goat does with horns if acceptable in their breeding standard. As many of you may have already heard, as of May 10, 2022, there is to be no poultry exhibited in Michigan for the time being. Our chickens, turkeys, and other fowl info is still included in the book. If MDARD is able to remove that ban, we will post here.
We look forward to another fantastic and successful Fair in Kalkaska County!
