The following COVID-19 social distancing and safety practices reflect requirements of the Illinois Department of Public Health and University of Illinois event guidelines. These mitigation protocols also may be modified to reflect any requirements of the local public health department based on local conditions at the time of the event.
Exhibit opportunities for the Horse project area include a live animal exhibit or an animal science display. If you choose to exhibit an animal science display for Horses, please register through your county's show registration.
If you choose to exhibit with a live animal at the Unit 16 4-H Horse Show this is the place to register your entries!
The show will be held Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Refuge Ranch in Rochester, IL. Check in will be from 7-8 a.m., and a mandatory grounds meeting will be held at 8:15 a.m. with the show beginning at 8:30 a.m.
All required forms have been mailed to enrolled horse project participants. All of the required documents can be delivered in person, emailed, or faxed EXCEPT the 4-H Waiver Form which the original hard copy must be mailed or brought to the Sangamon or Logan Extension Offices.
