Welcome to the Iroquois County 4-H Fair Entry Program!

We are counting on you, our 4-H members and families, as well as our staff and volunteers, to help make this fair season a safe and successful one!

The following COVID-19 social distancing and safety practices reflect requirements of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and University of Illinois event guidelines and will be in place for all indoor and outdoor 4-H events, including fairs and exhibitions:

Face coverings are required for all youth, spectators, volunteers, and staff. Face shields and goggles are not currently IDPH approved. If you are not able to wear a mask for medical reasons, we ask that you seek accommodation for the event by contacting staff by June 1 (May 1 for Public Presentation).

Everyone in attendance will practice social distancing during the event, including maintaining six feet of the separation from those who are not in their households. To allow for social distancing, building and spectator capacity may be limited based on current public health department guidelines.

Hand washing and sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the venue.

Anyone who has experienced COVID-19 symptoms within the previous seven days is asked to stay home. COVID-19 symptoms include fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, or shortness of breath.

If any of these guidelines present a challenge for you, please contact us directly at 217-300-0242. We are happy to discuss what accommodations are possible so that we can look for ways that all youth and families can safely participate in this event.

Youth are eligible to exhibit projects at the 4-H Show in any area that they were enrolled in through 4H online by the April 15 deadline (January 15 for Beef). For a complete list of your projects, access your 4-H Online account and go to the Participation tab.

Please use the Unit 4-H Summer Show Guide to help you understand the exhibit requirements for each project area.

Deadlines for show entries:

May 15 - Public Presentation and Food Demonstration Show

June 1 - All other projects
