1379 Swenson, Elsa 1771 Elsa Swenson, Blooms, bottle caps, milk jug caps, straws, plastic bottle, and glue. I created vase of flower blooms using plastic items. My family and I drink a lot of carbonated flavored water. We like to add juice to it for a healthier alternative to soda. We also drink a lot of milk, so I saved the caps from the milk jugs. The bottles all have colored caps, so I wanted to create something colorful out of the bottle caps. I love flowers, so I decided to make a flower bouquet with the bottle caps I had saved. This project taught me that I can create a lot of unique and colorful things using bottle caps. Green Anoka Lino Lakers

389 4-H Club, Straight River Stars 5449 The goal of this project was to promote recycling and to bring awareness on how much plastic we use. It was an amazing way for the group to work together as a team and to use their creative brains. While we were brainstorming we all kept throwing out different ideas (star, chicken nuggets, paintbrushes etc.). But we couldn't decide on just one. So we broke into smaller groups and each little group made something. At the end we still had a lot of extra plastic. Which made us realize just how much plastic everyone uses in their home.
